In order to start the process of obtaining a Reverse Mortgage, we need to gather some preliminary information seen below. Once we receive that we can put together a proposal with several different options. Upon receiving the proposal, we will schedule a meeting with you and your family (if desired) to review your options. If you decide to proceed after reviewing the proposal, you will schedule a Reverse Mortgage Counseling Session with an approved HUD Counseling Group. That counseling session is required and can take between 1 and 2 hours. Typically, they can be done on the phone or a Zoom call. Upon completion you will receive a Certification number and the actual loan process can proceed. The typical time from for a Reverse Mortgage is between 45 and 60 days.
